In 1983, almost by chance, I had an insight that would change my professional life forever: bringing to Sicily a service that did not yet exist — comprehensive support for the road transport of dangerous goods (ADR). At the time, transport operators were forced to cross the Strait of Messina to comply with regulations, or worse, risk penalties and safety hazards by operating in borderline conditions. I told myself, “If no one does it, then I will.” And so it began.
This decision opened a completely new path for the region. Today, after decades of experience and thousands of services delivered, that vision has become one of the pillars of our company.
EXCOSYSTEM is the natural evolution of this journey: a company that brings together expertise, experience, and continuous innovation—placing safety, prevention, and technological advancement at its core.
Our Story
Looking back on my journey, I realize that Excosystem is more than just a company: it is the result of a vision born over forty years ago, built day by day with determination, curiosity, and a deep commitment to the safety of people and businesses.
It all began in the 1970s, when I took my first steps in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT). I was a young professional eager to learn, working across radiographic, ultrasonic, magnetic particle, and liquid penetrant testing, as well as heat treatment of metal alloys. Based in the industrial area of Syracuse, I soon began working on projects across Italy. For me, it was not just a job—it was a way to truly understand how materials, structures, and industrial technologies work.
